To neocons, racists and insurance companies:

We had your crap for 8 years, now its time that you back off! Obama is not perfect but is many times better than the bozo we had for two terms.

Don’t be such sore losers, your lost. Respect the majority, as others did when you were in charge.

It’s time that US join the rest of the civilized world and provide a public health option. I personally am for vouchers but that is not on the table and anything is better than what we have now, which is : Nothing.

Things can be revised if needed in future.  This debate has been going on for way too many years. There is no perfect solution but we should start somewhere .

Taking the country down with’m

by beyond media on Sep.14, 2009, under Politics

  • Iranian government and leadership is more desperate than ever to find a way to cling to power as more and more Iranians are turning against them.
  • The last war with Iraq helped prolong the rule of Islamic Regime and provided the atmosphere to get rid of the opposition and it also helped mobilize and unite people against the foreign enemy versus the regime itself.
  • The current leaders can associate any war and associated destruction to coming of Mahdi the 12th Shia Imam.
  • The regime of coup is run by many in uniform who consider war as possible options.

War may be the last way out of the spiral collapse of the regime. Antagonizing Israel, US and the West against regime’s nuclear policy is an effective card that the regime may use to create such atmosphere. There are also those in Israel, US etc. who see their benefit in such atmosphere who may wish to ignite such friction.

Possibility of an upcoming war exists strongly. Those in power in Iran may very well choose to take the whole country down the path of destruction before they let go of power.
